Question: Creatine isn't working.?

I am 16 years old and I am on my second trial of creatine. I first took cell tech hardcore and got great results but I spent 200 bucks on it in 12 weeks. Now 1 1/ 2 months later I bought body builder creatine. For three days i've been taking 25- 30 grams a day too load up on it and I weigh 162 lbs. I have only gained one pound of water mass. This is frustrating. Am I taking too much? That is what a guy I asked at the gym told me. body tech creatine not body builder and i didn't ask for the side effects
